From marketers to exhibition stand builders
Our story begins thirty-five years ago. It starts with ‘Coleman Moore’ (CM), a marketing support agency. Over time, CM became more and more involved with exhibition stands.
As a result, around 1997 CM set up as exhibition stand contractors. They offered exhibition stand design, manufacturing and installation. Customer numbers continued to grow.
A new company name for a new era
Then, early in 2018, the company’s founding director retired. The story could have ended there. Instead, CM’s assets were bought and the business moved to larger premises. The company was renamed CMEX.
Thanks to this new investment the company lives on. CMEX is set to continue producing eye-catching custom exhibition stands well into the future.

We have solid experience of trade show construction in Germany. This accounts for almost 60% of our exhibition stand design and build projects. We’ve forged great relationships with local exhibition stand contractors in Germany. They help CMEX to be very competitive for UK companies exhibiting in Germany and mainland Europe.

The rest of our exhibition stand installation work takes place in the UK. CMEX is centrally based in Northamptonshire. We’re only 40 minutes away from building exhibition stands in Birmingham’s NEC. We can be at Coventry’s Ricoh Exhibition Centre in just 30 minutes.
We also build custom exhibition stands at ExCeL or Olympia. We can service London without incurring overnight stays or expenses.
In fact, we can make and install custom built stands for any major UK venue. This includes Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast, Harrogate and Manchester.
